Poppy Seed began in the early 90's led by songwriter, vocalist and guitarist Steven Bromstein and a changing assortment of collaborators.The band has completed its sophomore release, Beyond the Seventh Sun, recorded over a series of separate recording sessions over the past decade involving Eddie Kalwa (Rain Parade), Glenn Milchem (Blue Rodeo), Mitch Perkins (Rusty), James Strachan & James Ansara
